Thanks for stopping by. I’m Erica Gum-in-knee, a well seasoned, passionate, driven, and motivated leader. I strive to become an expert in any industry I’m working with by voraciously learning and forming relationships internally and externally. Because of this, I have a concrete history of success in developing business, building consensus, improving processes, pumping up teams, and crushing goals.

INSPIRED

Just like Vanilla Ice; “If there is a problem, yo, I’ll solve it.” I literally have to make things better. It’s ingrained in my DNA. I use humor to connect and break down barriers so all parties succeed. I encourage, coach, motivate and make the complicated simple to help everyone understand and exceed their goals. In addition to chronic overachievement, I am an active volunteer and community leader driven to build connections and make a difference.

STRENGTH

My experiences have given me the opportunity to become a master at inspiring, building and rebuilding new or underperforming teams. I do this by uncovering personal motivations of individuals and connecting their work to the mission and vision of the organization.  Sales people must believe in what they are selling.  I help them believe and coach them to hone their skills to exceed their goals and create lasting customers who trust them.  I have turned around failing teams through coaching, expectation setting and motivation; leading them to exceed goals for the first time in YEARS!

EXPERIENCE

I have a vast history as a top performer and historical goal crusher in executive-level roles with outstanding organizations Advocate Aurora Health Care, ASQ, Metroparent Magazine, ASQ, and BAX Global Logistics, just to name a few. I have led teams, and through focus, clear expectations and motivation, have created and exceeded goals. Customers are everything and I love to really connect with them to learn what they need and bring them creative solutions that blow their minds. I love the challenge of finding new customers and have managed books of business with millions of dollars in revenue. I now take those years of experience and make them available to you and your team.

I love speaking and training. I am obsessed with improving myself, others and the places I serve. I have been a speaker for many events and love inspiring, training and motivating others to be their best selves. 

Using stellar emotional intelligence skills, I build consensus and understand the needs of those I work with. I have an uncanny ability to break down barriers and get to the point in a fun and kind way which has allowed me to have great relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
