Be Not Afraid
Today, we begin anew.
I'm all fired up over here. Picture me jumping up and down, screaming from the top of my lungs, ready to pump you up for the big game of life that begins NOW!
The shackles of fear that once bound us have been removed and burned away forever.
For so long, fear kept us safe in our imprisonment.
Fear of the unknown kept us meek.
Fear of the worst kept us hidden.
Fear of rejection kept us alone.
Fear of joy kept us timid.
Fear is biggest liar and the mightiest of prisoners.
Fear and freedom can not coexist.
We are no longer bound by fear.
Today, we choose life; we choose freedom.
Jesus rescued and reclaimed us; therefore, we need not be afraid.
The unknown is a glorious adventure - BE NOT AFRAID.
The hard times will pass, and the best is yet to come - BE NOT AFRAID.
You are accepted and protected - BE NOT AFRAID.
You are equipped and prepared - BE NOT AFRAID.
When you want to hide or numb, remember who and whose you are - BE NOT AFRAID!
When those fearful thoughts try and wrangle and ensnare you - BE NOT AFRAID!
So much has been sacrificed for your freedom- do not waste another minute worrying or fearing.
BE NOT AFRAID!
Go forth today, and I mean GO.
RUN!
DO IT!
YOU ARE FREE!

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Isaiah 41: 9-10
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
