Catch Up

We have covered a lot of ground on this journey together.

Look back for a moment.

WOW!

We have come so far!

As we look back on our journeys and paths, we recall the many times when we didn't know who we were, where we were, or where we were going.

We remember that panic of amnesia and the desolation of feeling lost and alone.

We remember sitting in the muck, imprisoned by pain and anguish.

Despite our fear and uncertainty, slowly, we made our way forward and began to remember who we were again.

And in our rediscovery, we found that we were, in fact, never alone.

God was always there, next to us, ahead of us, beckoning us to run to Him.

We may have forgotten our identity or destination, but God didn't.

God has always known who we are and where we are going. All we have to do is catch up to Him.

Isn't that great news?

You are not a lost soul on the road to nowhere.

You don't have to figure this out all on your own.

You are found, and God awaits you on the road ahead.

Jesus has prepared the way, He's right ahead of you calling you to follow Him.

As you progress, one step at a time, you will catch up with who God knows you to be.

Your path will light up with each step you take, and it will shine brighter as you continue.

You may even skip with eager anticipation; don't say I didn't warn you.

As you learn and grow, you will catch up with Him and arrive at a destination—a place to call home—filled with contentment, purpose, and safety.

Just keep going.

One step at a time.

Follow the light and listen to God's voice calling you forward to catch up with Him.

God has found you, and He is never, EVER going to let you go.

Psalm 16:11

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Philippians 3: 12-14

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 16:24

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."
