Just Be
You, my precious darling, are the beloved child of God.
Nothing you have done or will do can separate you from that truth.
Nothing happening around you, as hard as it may be, can cause God's love to disappear.
Nothing.
These facts are sometimes not enough to keep our faith going when difficulties arise.
It’s more than okay sometimes, beloved, to just be.
God will send you signs and strength to remind you of His love. Look and you will find them.
Just be and lean on Him.
God has sent His faithful helpers to surround you to be the faith you need to help you continue and stand strong.
Just be and lean on them.
God's love only asks for one word from us - Yes.
Do you know I love you? Yes
Do you know I will never leave you? Yes
Do you know that you are my beloved and there is nothing that will separate you from Me?
Yes
Do you know I am with you and am ahead of you, working things out for your good? Yes
There are times when our yes is a mighty roar, filled with jubilation and decisive action to go and do all the things God has called us to do.
Other times, our yes is a faint whisper, heard only by God, who draws so near that we feel His breath upon us.
And then there are times when our yes is silent, and others must speak for us and help us say the word we cannot muster the strength or faith to utter.
Just be, beloved.
Let God's love surround you; rest in it and let it cover you.
God loves you so much, beloved.
Just be in that truth today.
Matthew 11: 28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Psalm 62: 1-2
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Galatians 6:2
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
