Loved
We have come to the end of this path of Loved on our journey together.
Once more, we find ourselves at the end of a foot trail; our path opens up to a large circle area where that roaring fire greets us as we join together, sharing what we have learned.
The flames loom large in the night air, and the crackling flames dance, bringing us back to peace as we sit and rest in our moments of reflection.
Look back at all you have discovered! I am so proud of you!
With all you have experienced on the path of Loved, what have you found is no longer serving you?
You must once again discard the lies you have believed into the fire.
They are no good to you anymore. It is time to get rid of the lies of:
not being loved
not being lovable just the way you are
not believing there is love available for you
not believing God can love us with all that we have done
not believing the world is filled with love and kindness
Whatever it is that comes to your mind that you that you want to release, write it down. Yes, right now.
Then, cross it off. Like aggressively. Really scratch that nonsense off so you can barely read it.
The time has come to release what is holding you back. It has been long enough.
Visualize yourself tossing this paper into the fire. See it sizzle in the flames and disappear into the ashes as the embers rise.
Feel the heat on your face as what has held you back is released into the atmosphere.
Oh, that feels so good. We are free from it!
Now, take a new piece of paper and write down what you will receive and believe, starting today.
What has God reminded you on this path of Loved that you want to hold close and never forget?
I am unconditionally, wholly, and eternally loved
Love surrounds me and keeps me safe
I love myself just the way I am
I see love all around me
I bring love and kindness into the world
Write down whatever deeply resonated with you on the path of Loved.
Read the words out loud, letting them really sink in.
Now, imagine that God is standing across from you at the fire. His smile is beaming so brightly that it almost overtakes the flames.
He is so proud of you. God loves you so much!
Hear Him read those words that you just wrote to you. Look him in the eyes as he tells you this truth.
Believe and receive it. Really. Really. Believe and receive it.
He is beckoning us forward to continue on our journey.
