Resolute

We are the bold and the beautiful.

No, I'm not talking about the cheesy soap opera (how is that still on?).

I'm talking about us, the redeemed and brave children of God.

We are bold and determined to continue transforming into the life God dreamed for us.

We are beautiful, miraculously healed, wiped clean from our pains and stains, renewed and restored in God's loving redemption.

No matter our past, we are resolute to honor God with our present and our future.

We are determined and fierce.

We will not let all our work with God go to waste.

We are survivors and thrivers.

We are crystal clear and attuned to what God says about our identity, and we will not be swayed by the voices of defeat, weakness, or fear.

As time passes and the hours tick by so fast, we become more determined to savor and fight for the extraordinary life God has blessed us with.

This is our battle cry as we begin our day.

Nothing is going to stop this bold and beautiful group of precious misfits.

I say all of this with the dramatic pauses, faraway glances, and cheesy mood music you have come to expect from soap operas.

But this isn't a fake, cringe-worthy drama. It's our real, unscripted life unfolding in front of a live audience.

And it's the most beautiful thing we could have ever imagined.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Psalm 56: 3-4

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise - in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
