Walk in Worthiness

Hey you, yeah, I'm talking to you.

Don't look over there - don't compare. You don't know their true story or what they hide behind the mask they wear.

God didn't make you like them; He made you to be you.

You're gonna make yourself dizzy looking at what everyone else has going on.

In the process, you will stand still, wasting time wondering if you should do what they are doing while you do nothing.

That is so silly when you really think about it.

Right now, imagine that there is just you and God on this earth.

Just the two of you, having a one-on-one meeting.

The noise has subsided, and it's just God's loving voice encouraging you and reminding you of your special gifts and the dreams placed within your soul.

You see how valuable and precious you are when it's just the two of you.

God - the creator of, well, everything - is pretty spectacular and worthy to be worshipped and praised.

And He made you.

If that doesn't make you worthy, I don't know what does.

You are an original, worthy, valuable human being, and comparing yourself or thinking you are not enough is unnecessary.

As your one-on-one time with God comes to an end, you get back on the path of your journey.

Focusing on who God says you are frees you from comparing and doubting, enabling you to walk in worthiness with your head held high.

The noise and distractions will return, but please don't forget what God told you.

Be grateful for your gifts, be the best version of yourself, and let others do the same.

Focus your eyes up and ahead and get to livin' a life worthy of a child formed by a loving God.

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Ephesians 1: 11-12

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone

Psalm 139: 15-17

My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret,

And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written The days that were appointed for me,

When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape]. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
