You Are Enough

We are at the starting line of a New Year.  The chase to enough begins.

The buying, the resolving, the lure of lack that bring us to that feeling of "if then" (insert goal of weight, money, relationship, etc.) I will be enough.

Here's the thing, dear one, you ARE already Enough.  Adequate.  Sufficient.  As much as required. 

I don't think God created you in the hopes you would try and tweak his imperfect design.  You were born in holy perfection - a design that no artificial intelligence can ever replicate.  You, my friend, were designed with the gifts and talents that are unfolding in the plans of your beautiful and messy life. 

Go look at yourself in a mirror.  Go on.  Look at you!!!!  You beautiful thing.  Every pound, every wrinkle, every little thing that you may see as a fault is truly perfection. 

Don't you see it?  Don't you see that there is no one in the whole world exactly like this beautiful creation staring back at you? 

YOU are enough.  Just as you are.
