A little More Won’t Be Enough

At this moment, you are living the life you used to dream about.

What do we often say when we have all we ever dreamed of?

Can I have a little more?

Just a little more...a little more...a little more...but will it ever be enough?

In this consistent repetition of lack, we are always seeking things or experiences to get us to the state of enough and satisfaction.

Not only that, when we crave just a little more, we lose our appreciation and gratitude for all of our current blessings.

If this nagging desire happens for you and that pull for a little more beckons you, take inventory everything you already have.

Spend some time on this. Don't rush it. Walk around your house, look at all that you have! Think of all the amazing things you have experienced.

Can you even believe all you have been blessed with! How amazing! In this moment you can choose to be elated with all of the wonderful goodness that surrounds you.

You have all you need and so much more - am I right?

Your thirst for a little more has hopefully subsided. Because, after all, you truly have more than enough.

Luke 12:15

"Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions."

John 4:13–15

Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water."
