Coated in Love

As you go about your day today, imagine being covered in a non-stick coating of God's love.

All day long, you will be encapsulated in love.

Whatever usually annoys, anger, or hurts you seems to bounce right off and doesn't stick.

During quiet moments, you will hear the whispers of God reverberating within your noise-cancelling barrier, telling you how much He loves you throughout the day.

Busy times will find you focused on the work as frustrations, overthinking, doubt, and fear cannot penetrate God's protective coating filled with reassurance and encouragement.

You will sparkle in the light as love and peace radiate from your non-stick coating of God's love.

Hidden safely within, you notice things don't seem to bother you as much as they usually do.

As you interact with others, you can see how easily scorched and burned they are with frustration and anger, having no coating of love around them.

The blustery winds of the world whip them around as they break and snap, vulnerable to the conditions they face.

That sure feels familiar.

What if we start our day by coating ourselves with God's love? Could we very well change everything?

God loves you, and so do I!

2 Corinthians: 21-22

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Isaiah 43:1

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
