Filtered Through Love

Picture yourself completely contained by God's love. It's all around you like a soft, warm armor of protection and security.

Nestled in this protective cocoon, you will be blissfully aware of God's unending and all-consuming love throughout the day.

Think of God's love as a filter for all you will give and receive.

Through the filter of love, everything seems brighter, everyone seems kinder, and you are in awe as you witness all the beauty of God's technicolor creation around you.

All of a sudden, you notice something interesting.

When someone tries to treat you poorly, it feels so strange and foreign. You know, in the depths of your soul, you do not deserve to be treated that way.

Someone so loved cannot be treated that way. No way, no how.

The love surrounding you filters out that nonsense, and you find that you are naturally rejecting anything that doesn't blend with all the love within and around you.

When you try to treat yourself poorly, tears well up as you remember the unconditional love that God surrounds you with.

Even your go-to negative self-talk and self-sabotage don't stand a chance against God's adoration.

As you look at others through the filter of love, you see them the way God sees them.

Thoughts of judgment and criticism soften as your heart fills with kindness, empathy, and understanding.

Only that which gets through the filter of love can remain.

And WOW, would you look at that?

What remains is so stunning it simply takes your breath away.

God's love shows us the beautiful, majestic creation this world truly is and how we can participate in it.

So today, my love-covered cutie pie, let love filter all you give and receive.

God loves you, and so do I!

Psalms 32:11

Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!

Hosea 14:4

"I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.

Psalms 145:5

They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
