Love the Progress

You are a beautiful work in progress.

Stop for a moment today and remember where you started. Think back on all the twists and turns that brought you to this juncture of your journey.

Wow. You have come so far! I am so proud of you!

Hindsight is 20/20, isn't it?

It all makes sense when we look back.

At the time, we were freaking out, thinking the worst as we were certain we would never get through it.

But, in retrospect, it all worked out for the best. It's incredible when you think about it.

We can see how everything was connected. We can see the design and purpose of the pain, the rejection, and the redirection.

God made a way and cleared a path so we could move forward.

But oh, how quickly we forget.

Our current coordinates find us with a bit of amnesia, constantly checking our GPS, wondering how long it will take us to get there.  If we even get there.

Uncertainty and panic fill our thoughts as we search every route to see which has the least construction and traffic to get us where we think we need to go.

"Are we there yet?" we cry out with whiny impatience.

Don’t you worry. You can rest easy, my friend; you are on your way!

Someday, you will reflect on this part of your progress and see how everything turned out just like before.

Trust that God is guiding you every step on this journey of progress. Have faith that He is the master way-finder.

If you let Him, God can and will remove what is in your path that will hurt or divert you, just as He did before.

Love the progress and enjoy the ride because you ARE going to get there, and when you do, it will be amazing.

I can't wait to see all the beautiful places He will take you along the way!

God loves you, and so do I!

James 1:2-4

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Isaiah 43:19

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Philippians 1:9

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.
