Give and Take
On this journey together, we have been working through some pretty deep stuff, and I know it hasn't always been fun. I want you to know I am so proud of you!
Something beautiful is unfolding with you as you reflect on God's unconditional love and never-ending desire for you - His beautiful and precious child.
The light is breaking through within you as you are seeing things through the eyes of love and truth rather than shame and lies.
You are finally starting to believe that you are enough and are wanted and loved just as you are.
You longed to feel unconditionally loved, and there was God, ready and willing to step in, pull you out of your funky muck, and love you until you were all clean and defunked.
God never tires of helping, hearing, and holding us when we call to Him.
We take so much from God; we want, ask, plead, question, doubt, and shake our fists when we don't get what we want.
Take...take...take
Let's pause from our taking for a moment today and do some giving.
Can we thank God for rescuing us?
Can we thank God for His cleverness as He works His way into our thoughts to speak the truth as he finds us even when we are in our best hiding spots?
Can we give God a big ole hug and thank him for pouring unconditional and unending love into our broken hearts?
Can we praise God and thank Him for all the ways He has shown up and dug deep to find us when all hope was lost?
Can we thank God for sacrificing everything for our forgiveness so that we could be free?
Where would we be without Him?
I’ll tell you where we would be - lost.
Thank you, God, for finding us, loving us, forgiving us, and wanting us.
All you want in return for everything you have done for us is our love.
Well, on behalf of everyone reading this today, let me say, YOU GOT IT!
