Inertia

Have you ever had one of those dreams where you were trying to run but couldn't move or, if you could, you could only go in slow motion?

I hate it when that happens.

I think this is how we feel after rejection, neglect, or manipulation takes root within us.

We are frozen and trapped within the lies that tell us we don't have what it takes to move forward.

We try to fight and motivate ourselves, but after a while, we are so weak and tired that we yell, "FALL BACK," and sit in the funky, mucky quicksand of inertia.

Just where the enemy wants us - knocked out, defeated, frozen, stuck.

Well, that's about enough of that.

You have fallen, but you can and will get up.

Look up; God is holding out His hand for you. Grab it as if your life depends on it because it does.

God's love is the force you need to get you up and out.

Take one step forward—just one.

Then another.

Then another.

God's got you, and He won't let you go.

Don't look over there; don't listen to those other voices.

Just keep your hand kung fu gripped with His and keep following where God leads you.

Pretty soon, you will be yelling "CHARGE" as you run forward to your beautiful, amazing, one of a kind, desperately needed, preplanned destiny.

It feels so good to MOVE!

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Psalm 37: 23-24

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

Proverbs 4: 11-12

Instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.
