Loved and More

As you have been reading about God loving you, it might be challenging to really grasp this kind of transcendental love.

I had the same issue.

Years ago, when I started understanding and receiving God's unconditional, unending, unwavering love, I thought of my beautiful Grandmother.

My Grandmother, who we called Honey, was bigger than life, as most Grandmothers are. She was amazing at everything she did and, most importantly, made everyone she knew feel unequivocally loved.

I knew she loved me so much despite all my quirky insecurities and childish awkwardness. We had a special bond and relationship that I will always cherish.

While reminiscing about Honey and how much she loved me, I could hear God whisper to me, "I love you that much and MORE."

Tears filled my eyes as I thought - WOW - God loves me that much and MORE? How is that even possible? WOW!

I got it. I received it. And it changed my life forever.

Think of someone you have known who loves you so much. Think about all the love they have shown you, how they have loved you just as you are, and that they have never abandoned or judged you.

Feels so good, doesn't it?

Here's the fantastic thing, my little scrumptious sweetie.

God loves you that much and SO much MORE!

Picture yourself sitting on a bench next to God.

As you look out at the beautiful scenery together, imagine Him telling you all about you and how much He loves every little aspect of your beautiful and wonderfully created self.

You probably will feel compelled to bring up past mistakes and failures, but when you try, He slowly puts His arm around you, reassures you that everything is OK, and continues telling you how He loves you SO much.

I’m crying tears of joy just thinking of how much God loves you!

That bench is always ready for you when you need to sit and be reminded of our Great God's great love for you.

It’s there for you

Always.

Forever.

Unconditionally.

Unwavering.

His love is there, ready and waiting; you just have to receive it.

God loves you, and so do I.

Psalms 48:1

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain.

Romans 8:37-39

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 36: 9-10

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
