Regenerating

Can you feel it?

At this very moment, God is miraculously restoring and regenerating you from the inside out.

A lot of activity is happening inside: cells are forming, wounds are healing, and regrowth is happening at record speed.

God's natural repair and maintenance plan for our bodies is pretty magnificent when you think about it.

What is happening at the cellular and molecular levels is also happening at the soulular (yeah, I just made up that word) level.

If we allow God to repair and maintain our souls, we can heal, grow, and form new ways to live our best lives.

I just had a flashback of a friend of mine who had a little icepack she called the "boo-boo kitty." It was a cute little cloth with a kitty on it that you would wrap around an ice cube.

Whenever the kids got an owie, boo-boo kitty would come to save the day and make everything better.

It is the best feeling to make a little one feel better as we soothe them, dry their tears, and tell them everything will be okay.

That is the kind of love God has for us.

No matter what pain we have experienced or what trauma we have endured, God is ready to heal us and make it all better.

God is like our boo-boo kitty - which may sound weird to some of you - but I'm sticking with it.

God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and omnipotent, yet He is also a gentle, kind, and loving Father who comes to us in our most vulnerable hour of need.

God comes to heal us and make it all better, just like we are his little children - because we always will be - no matter how old we are.

When we cry, "God, I have an owie!" He comes running to comfort, heal, and soothe us with His words, reminding us that everything will be okay.

God can regenerate the pain and difficulties of life into something beautiful that can heal not only us but also the world around us.

Don't let that "Service Soul Engine" light come on and slack on God's repair and maintenance plan.

Don't let those wounds fester and suffer in silence or denial, saying, "I'm fine, I'm fine," when you are not.

Cry out to God, let him comfort you, kiss your boo-boos, and make everything better.

Believe, receive, and feel that regenerative healing, my friend.

There, all better.

Psalm 147:3

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Psalm 107: 19-1

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
