The Force

Spring is such a beautiful season. Everything is blooming (achoo - sorry, allergies) and growing.

Nature awakens, and each day, rebirth brings bright colors to replace the gloomy grays of dormancy.

Rivers flow and bring life to dry lands.

Tiny little seeds spring open; even in the worst conditions, they are drawn to the light to fulfill their destiny.

Spring allows us to witness the miraculous force - the God-given instinct - within every living thing to survive and thrive.

Sometimes, I think humans are drawn to nature because we admire its peace and calm.

Animals, birds, and nature aren't panicking and wondering what they should do with their existence. They aren't reading self-help books, comparing themselves to others, or overthinking how they will get where they are going or how they will transform from their current state to fulfill their potential.

Butterflies aren't like, "Man, I sure wish I was one of those robins."

They just go with the flow and trust that it will all work out - kind of makes me jealous, really.

I bet you can see where I am going with this.

The same force you witness in nature resides within you - the God-given instinct to survive and thrive.

No matter how long you have been lying dormant.

No matter how far down you have buried yourself under the rocks and muck.

Even on your darkest days, when you are certain there is no hope, God's loving force calls for you to return to Him.

God is seeking you out, and He sees you down there.

Reach up and trust the force of God's love to bring you back into the light.

Rest and let God lead you to peaceful waters where you can flow freely and enjoy this precious life you have been given.

Simply existing and living is a miracle to behold and enjoy.

God has found you, and He is never, EVER going to let you go.

Matthew 6: 26-27

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you, by worrying, add a single hour to your life

Job 33:4

The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Isaiah 40: 26

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these?

He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
