You Are Loved

Before the pushes and pulls of your day begin, I want you to read these words and let them soak in.

You are loved.

That's right, YOU!

Just as you are.

There are no conditions you have to meet. There is no weight you need to lose, no wrinkles you need to fill, no amount of fame you need to reach.

This truth may be hard to believe.

You might not have received this message growing up.

At a young age, you got the idea that you could only be loved if you were good enough, helped enough, or achieved enough.

Oh, my little love bug, nothing is farther from the truth.

You can do nothing to be loved more than you are because your very essence is love.

For you see, God IS love, and God created you. The foundation of every cell in your body IS love.

You were made with love, by love. Your very core IS love.

Therefore, you are loved. You can be nothing but loved.

That’s just straight up logic.

Let the pushes and pulls ensue, but don't you, for one teeny tiny second, forget how loved you are.

When you find a pause in your day and reach for your phone for some scrolling, say to yourself, "I am loved."

When responding to the 175th email, stop and say to yourself, "I am loved."

When someone is crabby with you, say to yourself, "I am loved (oh, and so are they)."

When doubts and fears arise, remind yourself, "I am loved."

Because you are. You really are.

God loves you, and so do I!

1 Thessalonians 1:4

For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you,

Jeremiah 31:3

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love;

I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

1 John 4:16

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.

God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
