Enough
We have come to the end of this path of Enough on our journey together.
Imagine, at the end of the foot trail of our journey, our path opens up to a large circle area where a roaring fire greets us as we join together, sharing what we have learned from our time on this journey so far.
The blaze looms large in the night air, and the crackling flames dance, bringing us peace as we sit and rest in our moments of reflection.
Look back at all you have discovered!
With all you have experienced on the path of Enough, what have you found is no longer serving you?
Perhaps you want to discard the lies you have believed of:
not being enough
not having enough
not believing there is enough
not believing it will all work out
not believing God will provide enough for it to all work out
Or perhaps something else resonated with you as we walked this path of Enough together.
Whatever it is that stuck with you that you want to release, write it down. Yes, right now.
Then, cross it off. Like aggressively. Really scratch that nonsense off so you can barely read it.
The time has come to release what is no longer serving you. It has been long enough.
Visualize yourself tossing this paper into the fire. See it sizzle in the flames and disappear into the ashes as the embers burn away the pain.
Feel the heat on your face as what held you back rages in the fire and then releases into the atmosphere as the sparks fly.
We are free from it! HOORAY!
Now, take a new piece of paper and write down what you will receive and believe, starting today.
I am enough
I have enough
There is enough
God is enough
Whatever it is, write it down.
Oh, that feels so good.
Now, imagine that God is standing across from you at the fire. His smile is beaming so brightly that it almost overtakes the flames.
He is so proud of you. He loves you so much!
Hear him read those words that you just wrote down.
Look him in the eyes as he tells you this truth..
Take it in, dear one. Believe and receive it.
Feel lighter already, don't you?
Alright..
He is beckoning us forward to continue on our journey. Another pathway appears.
Let’s go!
Psalms 25:15
My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
