Enough Pretending

You have believed the lies long enough, dear one. Somewhere along the way, you agreed that people wouldn't love you as you are. If they knew the real you, they would reject you.

So, rather than be the real you, you began the performance.

It started at an early age. Maybe you hid the details of what was happening at home. Perhaps you altered the truth of your essence to fit in or please others. You said yes when you meant no.

After a while, you bagan to wonder who YOU even are as you split into a cast of characters created to play just the right part for the right scene.

I get it.

It's exhausting, isn't it?

God is saying to you right now - ENOUGH PRETENDING!

God loves the authentic you - just as you are - with all the scars and imperfections left from a life of mistakes, mishaps, and bad acting.

You are enough - in all that you were, are and will be.

Start a new script, dear one. Or better yet, return to the original manuscript, for it was written about YOU and FOR YOU.

It is time to unmask the more than enough, beautiful character that is YOU!

1 Peter 2 9:10

But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
