Another path completed.
Wow.
I am so proud of you.
Our trailway opens to the familiar large circle area, where that roaring fire welcomes us back as we gather and share what we have learned.
We are a rescued bunch of misfits, and as I look around at all of you, I can see a light within you that is burning brighter than it was the last time we sat together.
Dang, you are beautiful!
Sitting and relaxing feels so good.
We rub our aching feet and enjoy each other's company, feeling like well-worn warriors who have just won a battle.
Shedding all the crap we carried for so long was a battle, that's for sure.
We fought hard on this path of Found, and with God's help, we won!
We take out our paper again and write the lies once branded on our hearts. The lies seem ridiculous now as we see them written down.
We smile as we cross them off fervently, toss them into the fire, and watch them sizzle and disappear—never to be seen or heard again.
Lost
Abandoned
Hidden
Desperate
Forgotten
Discarded
Goodbye forever, you craptastic lies from the pit of hell.
Never again will you entangle us with your nonsense.
We all start laughing and snorting, letting all our joyful noises fill the air.
We take out another piece of paper and start writing the truths as we did when we last met.
Seeing the words feels amazing, and we start to shout them out as loudly as possible.
I AM FOUND
I AM RESCUED
I AM RESET
I AM HEALED
I AM SAFE
Our words echo and reverberate around us, and we watch them appear in the sky and burn a light so brightly that we have to squint our eyes to make them out.
These truths add to those we have accepted on our Journey From the Ashes.
Remember when we first started together? We were so scared of getting out of the muck and our entangled mess.
Well, look at us now!
And we have so much more light and truth to find.
Suddenly, my feet feel fantastic, and I am ready to RUN!
God is beckoning us to follow Him and keep going.
One by one, we stand up, jump, and yell, "CHARGE!"
We are fired up and ready to keep going!
