Offering

Yeah! It happened again; we woke up. Thank God.

I would like us to dedicate our day as an offering to God.

God has given us so much through His unconditional love, and Jesus sacrificed everything to save and redeem us.

So, rather than going about our day focused on our own tasks and desires, how about we think of every moment as an offering to God?

The world needs love and kindness more now than ever, and we can bring that light into the world by offering ourselves to God.

I'm not sure exactly what this means, but I do know that God wants us to love each other the way He loves us.

Unconditionally.

Jesus showed us how to love others without expectation, without the other person meeting certain conditions.

Is there someone in your life who might need some help? Help them.

Is there someone in your life who is struggling? Reach out to them and offer your support.

Are there things or people in your life that go unnoticed that you need to stop and say thank you for?

Think of every expression of appreciation as an offering you are laying at God's feet.

Think of every act of love and kindness as a gift exchange for all God has done for you.

At the end of the day, I hope our offerings to God overflow so much that we are brought to tears as we express our love and gratitude.

Thank You, God, for this beautiful life you have given us.

Romans 12: 1-3

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.

Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.

You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Colossians 3: 23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

John 13: 34-35

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
