Rebound

Do you ever look back at the "old days" and wonder how the heck you survived it all?

Sometimes, I shiver when I think of all my near misses and thank God that I am still here today. There were too many wrong places at the wrong times than I care to remember.

It could have all ended up so differently.

I don't know how He did it, but God found me, pulled me out of the wreckage(s) I put myself in, and brought me back to life.

I was battered and bruised - but because of God's love and forgiveness, I eventually recovered and healed.

Thanks to God's love and forgiveness, I rebounded.

To rebound means to spring back or recover from a setback.

That's us today, my friend.

We are rebounders.

We have recovered from so many setbacks.

We were once defeated and lost, but not anymore.

God found us, and with His help, we have become rebounders and conquerors.

Don't look back. The wreckage(s) have been cleaned up; there is no reason to beat yourself up anymore.

Those old nasty voices kept whispering in your ear, shaming you, and telling you that you were nothing and that you would never be able to come back. You were just too far gone.

Lies. From. The. Pit. Of. Hell.

We don't listen to that nonsense anymore. We have come too far to fall back.

We have overcome so much and continue to rebound,

And every time we do, we come back stronger than before.

Receive the forgiveness, honor the sacrifice, and rebound with power, authority, and joy!

God has found you, and He is never, EVER going to let you go.

Philippians 3: 13-14

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

2 Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
