The Extraordinary Enough Within

The other day, I looked at some old scrapbooks from when the kids were little. I used to love writing encouraging notes to them expressing the nuances of their personalities. I marveled at how their gifts, talents, and strengths appeared at such young ages.

Those precious little ones were born with uniqueness, and I am in awe watching them continue to discover and uncover their amazingness.  

Now, how about YOU? 

Think about the beautiful sparks, gifts, and talents within that have evolved since you were little.  

That greatness, that unique, bright spark, was nestled within the foundation of your spirit. You started with enough and are building on the gifts God formed within you.  

All of it brought you to today. Whatever journey you are on, be encouraged that you have enough within you to:

walk away

not give up

stop

begin again

Oh, what extraordinary enoughness lies within you!

Psalm 139:13-16

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;

You formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made!   

I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.
