You Choose

We have been reminding ourselves how much God loves us and wants us just as we are.

In His eyes, we are more than enough.

Yet, so often, we resist these loving truths and hold onto our suffering.

We deny ourselves the freedom of forgiveness and the joy that could fill our hearts.

We choose to dwell in regret over past pain or failures.

OR

We choose to return to bad habits or patterns that keep us stuck and entangled.

OR

We choose to grasp onto unforgiveness and commit ourselves to playing the part of villain or victim.

The loop continues as we choose to stay stuck in our suffering.

We go around and around, over and over, telling ourselves the same stories and wallowing in our mucky misery.

Aren't you tired of it?

Time is flying by faster than we can keep up with it, and we are wasting it with this looping lunacy!

God is offering you a chance to escape the muck of suffering and walk the path of love, hope, and new beginnings.

No matter what has been done to you or by you, God's offer of love, forgiveness, and redemption still stands.

Remember that God paid a hefty price to offer you this opportunity.

By sending Jesus, God showed us that His love would pay the ultimate price so that we could be free from the suffering and tormenting loop that comes from sin.

Jesus never knew the pleasures of sin, but He sure knew their price.

In His sacrifice, Jesus assured you that you are loved and forgiven.

What more do we need to accept that there is a choice and way out for us?

God wants you and calls you out of the muck and to follow Him to freedom.

Now you have to choose what YOU want.

Please choose wisely; you don't have a moment to spare!

You don't have to be afraid. God's got you every step of the way!

I can see Him beckoning for you to come to Him.

Step up and out and run to God. He is waiting for you with open arms.

Matthew 14:27

But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."

Philippians 3:13

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

1 Peter 5: 9-11

Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings. But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who calls you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself perfect you and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation. To him be the power forever! Amen.

John 3: 16-17

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
